De PC4 heeft een 88 toetsen gewogen (piano) klavier. Hij is 256-stemmig polyfoon en biedt 9 sets programmeerbare faders en drukknoppen.
Er zijn 2 GB aan Kurzweil samples en 2 GB voor je eigen sounds. Nieuw is de ingebouwde 6 operator FM engine waarin je FM sys-ex files (Yamaha DX) kunt laden. In totaal zijn er 1000 presets
De PC4 heeft een onboard en sequencer en 16 arpeggiators en 16 midi CC step sequencers.
